I love the place, the machines are always clean and useful, not broken and not dirty, I like how in the administration give me patience with my doubts to understand how to use a machine, and they have patience to understand how I ask something because I’m Colombian and sometimes is hard for me understand the things in English, and special thanks to Nelly in front desk, I really like this place not going to disappoint you C:

Alpha Gym is one of the best gyms I’ve ever been to. The facilities are clean, the equipment is well-maintained, and there’s a wide variety for all types of workouts. The staff and trainers are super friendly and professional. Highly recommend! I am currently training with the best trainer Jun, I am feeling better everyday and I never liked training this much. I am becoming a gym eat I would definitely recommend anyone who hasn't been to gym at all you must try Jun !!!

I travelled to many gyms in the world and this is one of the best I have been to. Amazing staff, great machines and a nice free weight area. Not crowded and very clean. Also: No scam with the contract. If you look for a temporary gym in your holidays, it is perfect.

Trash gym with trash staff. The personal trainers don’t help you unless you are their client. When I was new to the gym, I asked one of the personal trainers how to do a dumbbell row, he said I need to “set the scapula.” I asked him what this meant and he refused to tell me. Sick and tired of this gatekeeping. He was also just being very condescending to me even though I did nothing to him.There is also no privacy, the manager records everything you do wrong on his computer, even small things like if you accidentally bump into someone. He won’t tell you this to your face though, he does this behind your back. If you think no one is judging you at the gym, think again because every minor wrongdoing will be recorded on their system.I thought the gym would be a supportive environment but that’s obviously not the case. I had a much better time doing Bodyweight exercises at the park because the people there did not refuse to help me when I asked them. I just workout at home now and have never been more consistent in my training and don’t have to deal with disrespectful staff like I did at this gym.I’m so happy I built a home gym just so I never have to go back to this gym again.

Location was easy to find especially from out of the area. Staff are friendly and helpful but not too much in your face. Small but clean, organised and sufficient spaces in between equipments.Great quality apparels

The reception attitude is so rude at the first impression. Tried 45 and virgin active so many gym never met the service like that.Definitely not recommend

Came through referral of existing member on 17-Jan-2024 at around 7:45 PM to sign up for membership, but there was no staff in the reception. The opening hours suggests the staffed hours are 9AM-9PM which was clearly not the case.I also waited for 1 hour and left at 8:40PM just in case the staff was on break but no one came until then and i had to leave.Definitely not the best first impression that you’d want to make on a customer. I understand there could be staff shortages but the staff should at least leave a sign/note in the reception to avoid the trouble for the customer.While i was waiting i saw one more customer coming in to start a membership through referral but he had to walk off because of the same reason.Thank You

The gym has been fantastic, and Sony Di really stood out. She’s friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to help with advice or tips. Her positive attitude made my experience even better. Highly recommend this gym for both its great facilities and excellent customer service!

Great gym, with an amazing bunch of people running this place.The owners/other staff are all incredibly kind and helpful people. They bring in their dogs (Leo is a regular and a really cute dog that loves a pat) and it feels more like a home than a gym.If you are like me and get a little anxiety at the thought of going into the "real" weights section, Alpha has cardio and weight machines at the front of the gym, along with two squat racks. You can easily complete your workout here without having to venture into the large weights section which is almost like it's own separate room at the back of the gym. It has plenty of squat racks, free weights and cables etc.I joined this gym thinking I would only be there for 6 months, but I have been a member for around two years now!The owners are really lovely caring people, the gym is clean and has good equipment, it's in a central location, what more do you want?

Decent gym, quite big and well priced.The machines are a cheaper brand than Anytime fitness use but they do the job. Could do with some more free weights benches.Also way to many heavy dumbbell, the entire bottom row is never used.

Clean and friendly gym!Been going to this gym for almost a year, I felt like it's time to give it a review.The gym is clean, the equipment and bathrooms (toilets & showers) are well managed. I see the gym staff (Daniel & Tony) cleaning and putting away equipment through out the day. There are wet wipes provided for gym members to wipe down the equipment which is a wonderful. During the day, it has good air flow via the doors and also the air-con. Feels almost like an outdoor gym, without needing the battle the elements.I had the opportunity to attend their free HIIT & Boxing HIIT classes. Easy to book and reasonable amount of time to cancel. Daniel, Brian and Celia are attentive trainers who motivates all attendees to reach their potential while also educating them on how to do each station properly to avoid injury. I love this, as someone who is recovering from past injuries, I felt less afraid to do high intensity exercise.Other bonuses:Cutie dogs welcoming you into the gym and the fruit in the kitchen / front desk area. Close to Strathfield station and shops.

Not long ago, I spent 6 months in Sydney and chose this gym with special care. I am very happy with the time and people I spent here.The staff is very helpful and for any help I needed. This is my first encounter with training without an instructor. However, everything went well because the devices are perfect and very clear with all the instructions.Cleanliness in the gym is at a very enviable level, bathrooms, changing rooms, machines, wow. It smells everywhere and in every place. Ah, yes, the special benefit of fruit at the end of training.The membership fee is very reasonable.Special thanks to Daniel, Po, Thant and other employees.Thank you once again, you are the best and I will come again

Don’t join this gym. So bad management. I wanted to cancel my membership by sending them gmail but they said i have to come to the gym. I have started working long hours from 6am to 9pm and have no time to go there but they refuse to cancel my membership over an email. And still my membership is pending and haven’t been there in 3 month and have to pay 110$ monthly. I can’t take a day off just to cancel my membership and their policy is i have to come their anyway and give them a notice of 1 month again. Just a stupid rules and so rude teams. Nobody should join there.

Very grateful to be at this gym. Great managers who are always super nice and fun to be around, and the other gym members are very supportive and nice.The gym equipment is very nice, it isn’t the biggest gym so their isn’t as much equipment variety as another bigger gym but got the amount of room they have it’s a good selection. The music in the gym is really nice too, good modern selection without being to in your face or “hip”.Also one of the managers/owners has a dog that lives in the gym, very good boy who loves pets and sleeping. Very good addition that always brightens my day and never bothers anyone.

While I appreciate the inclusive atmosphere of the gym, I believe there should be stricter regulations regarding the presence of dogs on the premises. While being dog-friendly is a commendable aspect of the gym's culture, it's imperative that dog owners exercise responsibility and consideration for other patrons.One particular Korean PT consistently brings two small dogs to the gym, and unfortunately, their presence is constantly disruptive to individuals trying to focus on their workouts. While I understand the bond between owner and pet, it's essential for dog owners to ensure that their pets do not interfere with others' experiences at the gym.Implementing guidelines to limit and control the roaming of dogs within the gym could significantly improve the overall environment. This might involve designated areas for dogs to remain during workouts or specific times when dogs are permitted on the premises.

It is a very different gym from those I have visited in some parts of the world, what makes it different? They allow you to bring your pet and have it with us during our training. Their multicultural staff guides you in a very friendly way, which is why I recommend this gym for all those looking for a new gym in the Strathfield area.

Gym is very clean, open, good lighting, well placed mirrors with a variety of well maintained machines. I love the environment of instructors in the gym willing to help you out. Daniel has been a lot of help to me from adjusting my contract without issue to replacing my key fob when I lost it. Would highly recommend this gym to my friends or family looking for a gym.

Clean gym, friendly staff, enough equipment even when most attended. I wanted to give it 4 stars due to music not my favorite, too many motor sport videos and videos not showing during weekend, but when they replaced the proximity entry key free of charge, I had no choice but to give them 5 stars.

I would like to firstly apologize if anybody saw my previous review which was out of resentment and anger. The owner is an extremely understanding guy. He personally called me to resolve my contract issue with the gym and explained patiently( despite me talking rudely at first) how it happened and the length he went to for resolving this issue was absolutely fantastic. I was a hater but now I can say this is the very best gym you can go to and I'm assured that they will go above and beyond for every person to join their facility.

Called for a casual pass and Daniel was so extremely accommodating.Nothing was too much of a hassle for him. The customer service, facilities and vibe of the gym was incredible. Will be back. Wish it was our local. Highly recommend!!

A clean and well organised gym with good vibes and friendly staff. Very close to train station, shopping centre and restaurants (post-workout carbs for muscle gain?). Also offering yoga, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, HIIT classes etc for all age groups.

Absurd contract!! Please don’t join this gym!I havent seen any contract like this have. Contract is different than other contracts that Australian have. They have their own contract. Do not !join this gym! If you want flexible plan!!If you guys are joining this gym make sure that you give them notice of one month before your contract finish instead of them giving you the notice which is their responsibility. Everyone wanna deduct your money be safe.
